Changes To Your Appointment As A Result Of COVID 19

June 16, 2020

As a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, I have made the recommended changes that will affect your dental hygiene appointment.

Here is what you need to know:

Online appointment scheduling is available for you to schedule your dental hygiene treatment.

The day before your dental hygiene appointment a confirmation and virtual health COVID-19 online screening form will be emailed to you.  You are required to complete the virtual form before arriving at my office for your appointment.

Please wait outside my office door and I will let you in for your appointment.

You are required to wear a mask or face covering inside my office.

You are required to disinfect your hands when you enter the office.

For your safety walk-ins are not permitted to my office. Please minimize the number of supportive people you bring with you to your appointment.

I will review your virtual screening form with a series of questions and take your temperature.

During your dental hygiene treatment, I will be wearing personal protective equipment that includes a face shield, mask, isolation gown. I am following The College of Dental Hygienists of Ontario’s guidelines.

You will notice that I have installed a door to the dental clinic room to keep aerosols generated during your appointment inside the clinic room.

You will notice a cooler temperature as I have installed a HEPA filter system. I have had the dental treatment clinic measured for proper air turnover time by an HVAC professional as recommended by The College of Dental Hygienists of Ontario.

After your appointment, you will have a few minutes to schedule your next appointment, ask any questions, and pay for your treatment.

When you exit the office you will be asked to disinfect your hands.

After you leave the door will be locked and I will begin the cleaning and disinfection reprocessing to prepare for my next client.

Welcome Back! I look forward to seeing you soon!
